We are live now for Private bookings !

Our site is a Small Private Wildlife Conservation Woodland & Working  Coppice Wood.

The woodland is a diverse Semi Ancient Oak Standard & Coppice Woodland .

Its a wonderful habitat for wildlife and we work hard to protect the species that live here.

There are many species of Song Birds at the wood including some Red & Amber listed Birds like the Wood Warbler, Woodcock, Redstart & Pied Flycatcher!

We currently are run a Nest Box Breeding Project at our Private Conservation Woodland for the Pied Flycatcher as our Primary Species.

Our Private wildlife hide Provides an opportunity to monitor and photograph these beautiful Migrant birds without disturbing them at the nest boxes during the breeding season. 

Private guest use of the Hide are by Private invite or Pre-bookings.

Guest Tickets  Help Us support the Maintenance of the Woodland for Wildlife & Coppice Management of the woodland.

We only allow Two Guest Photographers or Wildlife Watchers per Day Session as to protect the wildlife from disturbance as much as possible. 

 Our Woodland contains some Endangered species of birds that Use our Conservation Site for Breeding like the Wood Warbler, Woodcock & Pied Flycatcher.

We currently have a Two Man Hide available on a Guest Ticket at Narrows Wood Main Wood.

5ft2 wide x 5ft2 long  x5ft2 high.

The Hide is for the Day only available on a Private Guest Ticket and will be Located in our Main Woodland for Wildlife Watching & Photography.  The Main woodland Contains Many species of birds including Nuthatches, Jays, Greater Spotted Woodpecker, Wood Warblers, Chaffinch, Dunnock, Wren, Robins, Pied Flycatchers, Coal Tit, Great Tit & Blue Tit. 

Though what you will see on the day can not be Guaranteed. 

All Guests will be taken to the hide from our Private parking by the Woodland Owner John or my mate Rob on foot.

Sturdy foot ware must be warn and walking pole advised as banks to the hide are step.

Please stick to the Designated Path to and from the hide & to be as Quiet as possible not to disturb the wildlife.

Unfortunately the rest of the woodland other than Narrows Wood Conservation is out of Bounds as Neighbouring Woods are owned by other Private woodland owners !

We can not Guarantee you will see the wildlife at the wood on the day & also unfortunately Other neighboring woodlands allow other activities like shooting so noise from guns etc may be heard.

The woodland is Usually Peaceful during the hours of 9am - 4pm  Monday, Tuesday & Thursday.

Hence Pre-bookings are Taken for the Hide are usually on these days & times as they are the quietest.

There is also the Benefit of a Picnic Bench available for uses at the Entrance to Main Wood with a Bird feeding Area ideal to watch the birds while having lunch. 

Ticket is for the Hide only!

You will also need to bring your own chairs & Camera Equipment.

You will also need to bring your own food & refreshments.

Unfortunately Toilet Facilities are not Provided but there are Toilets in the Town of Knighton near by.
